DESCRIPTION:The Council of Irish Sign Language Interpreters (CISLI) and Reg
 ister of Irish Sign Language Interpreters (RISLI) are delighted to again b
 ring you a joint training event led by Sofiya Kalinova BL.\n\nSofiya will 
 lead you through  the structure of the Irish legal system\, the hierarchy
  and functions of the courts\, the roles of key legal actors\, and the mai
 n sources of Irish law including the Constitution\, legislation and case l
 aw. The session will outline the key stages of civil and criminal proceedi
 ngs\, highlight common courtroom terminology and communication practices\,
  and explain how cases progress through the system.\n\nThis context will s
 upport Irish Sign Language interpreters in understanding who is speaking\,
  why particular terminology is used\, and what to expect when working in c
 ourt settings.\n\n**Please note\, completion of the previous 'Introduction
